Coconut?
We have this beautiful tree right outside our front door. We have been waiting for the coconuts to get ripe and fall. Well the other day the yard workers came to chop down a tree that was out of control next to our garage. As I was walking in the door, I looked up to check on OUR coconuts. They were ALL gone! I think that the workers figured they would cut them down, while they were there. I should be thankful that one didn't fall and kill one of us, but I really am disappointed that we don't get to experience the coconut harvest.

What's It Like Where You're At?
We get that question A LOT! Today we went on a tour to the North East Gate. It is the gate between the US base and the "Country" . I took pictures of everything I was told I could take a picture of. There was a lot that I couldn't get on film, but here are pictures of the gate, and the actual, real country. I even got a picture of "them" in one of their guard towers. (Look closely) It is actually a mine field that is all around the fence and gates. I don't think that I will go for a stroll in there, anytime soon. Very Interesting!!! As a side note, that is a flag flying behind my head and not a hat or crazy hair! We were also SO HOT!! Sweat running down your back kind of hot. YIKES!

It's Here!

I am so excited! I finally got my book! I had my blog made into a book through the cutest blog on the block. It turned out AWESOME! I couldn't be happier! It was not expensive, and eased my scrapbooking guilt. Well worth the money. I think that I will do this every year! YEAH!!!!

GO ARMY !
Scott would probebly hate seeing this picture on our blog. So don't anyone tell him it's up here. I think that it is important to have this picture for posterity. This is Scott in his Class "A" Army Uniform.(Your not suppose to smile. It is weird not seeing Scott smile.) He looks so handsome in green. We are currently in the process of trying to switch to the Air Force. The deployment times are much better on the family. In the 5 years we have been in the Army, Scott has been deployed 3 of those 5 years. (YIKES! I'm not complaining though.) There are 3 phases(or cut offs) to switching to the Air Force. We are currently in phase 2, which means he made it through phase 1. YEAH!!! It is a long process, that can take up to a year. We will keep you posted.

Cute Boy!!
He has reached a milestone. He is so cute. I want to kiss his face off, whenever I look at him. And when he talks, with that tiny little lisp, my heart just melts. I wish he would stay in this stage for a long time. I love you Elijah!
Deep Sea Fishing
Scott, Sam, Liv, and Elijah went fishing on Tuesday. They rented a boat, and spent ALL day fishing. They ended up catching 13 fish. I was brave, and even ate it! I have to admit that it was very good, and didn't even taste like fish. Our neighbors, who went with them, cooked them up for us, and treated us to dinner the next day. Sam caught the biggest fish of the day!! I was impressed.
