My sweet, beautiful, kind, loving niece, got married this month. I flew out to Florida to see her and Ben get married in the Orlando Temple for time and all eternity. Everything about it was absolutely beautiful. Emilee and Ben looked so happy. We went to the temple, then to a really neat place called Vino's for the Dinner. We then drove to Amy and John's house for the reception the next day. After the reception, Ben and Emilee went to Miami, to get on a ship for a 7 day honeymoon cruise! LUCKY!!

It was a lot of fun to see my family too. I haven't seen some of them since before GTMO, so it was really good to see them! I wish that there was a way to make time go by slower than it does. It was such a fast weekend. It felt like it was over before it began.

Thanks to John and Amy! They sure know how to throw a party. It all turned out wonderful... I miss you all already!!

Beauty School!

I have always wanted to cut hair (and actually know how to do it right). About 6 months ago, Scott came home from work, and told me he thought I should quit my job (which I hated), and go to Cosmotology School. So here I am in week 5 of my 9 month program, and I LOVE IT! My graduation date is January 2, 2012. If you need a haircut, color, facial, manicure, pedicure, makeup, perm or a relaxer, give me a call!! I need the practice!

Happy Mother's Day

As I sit here writing this, I am at a loss for words, to describe my Mom. I feel very blessed that I have such a great one. She is and always has been my best friend. She really is SO much fun to be around. She has taught me so much about life, love, and the importance of faith. I honestly have NEVER heard her be mean to another person. My Mom has been through so many trials, and yet her faith stands strong. She is positive, kind, forgiving, loving, and truly has the best sense of humor. I thank Heavenly Father everyday for sending me to her. I love you Mom. Happy Mother's Day! You ARE the BEST!

I think this is how we all feel. It looks like warm weather is FINALLY here. We made it through our first really cold weather in over a decade. It was a little bit fun, but we are all ready to bask in the sun!
