Twilight!

Yes, I am a little obsessed with the Twilight series. If you haven't read them, then you really should. I don't think there is anyone who loves these books more than my sister, Amy. She should get some help! I love you Amy! (Thank you Julie for the idea, I miss you!)

Emergency Room AGAIN!

I was at work this morning, when the phone rang. It was the school nurse saying that Elijah was pushing a friend in a swing when it came back and hit him in the eye. She said very calmly that she thought he needed a couple of stitches. Off I went to spend the day in the ER. Poor little boy! He was not happy to be there. They ended up just super glueing it, and holding it tight with a butterfly strip. That looked more painful than the injury itself. Elijah was so brave and is now good and drugged on Advil. There is never a dull moment at the Brill house, or school.

ISOTOPES BASEBALL!

Last night we were all very excited to go to the baseball game. Elijah was the most excited, and there were others who did not appreciate his excitement. "Mom, can you tell Elijah to stop yelling in my ear?" Was said at least 40 times. Needless to say, we all had a great time! A little bit of a headache , by the end. We won 16 to 8! Lots of Home Runs! It was fun to see how far the ball really goes. Thank you Dr. Stoddard for the tickets!

Dog Park

We took Maggie to the dog park tonight for Family Home Evening. It was really a pretty night, and we got some really cute pictures.

Grandpa and Grandma Berrett

We got a surprise phone call last Monday. Grandpa and Grandma Berrett were on their way to West Virginia, where they are serving a mission. We got to enjoy their company. It was a quick visit, we went to eat and then rode up to see the temple. It was such a nice visit, and it was so good to see them. We love you Grandpa and Grandma! Just a note, Elijah was there with us. He was throwing a fit. He can be seen in the left corner. Fun, Fun!!

First Day of 7th Grade!!!

First Day of School!!!

My kids all start school on different days this week. Alivia started today! I can't believe she is in the 4th grade! We met her teacher at "Meet the teacher day", and she seems very nice!
Elijah went to school today for an evaluation only day. They just asked him questions for about a 1/2 hour to see how much he knows. He did awesome. He counted to 109, said his A,B,C's, and what sounds they make. Elijah was full of information. He was a little bit shy. His teacher Mr. Gallegos said that Elijah is VERY advanced, but they are testing this next couple of weeks and are going to put them in groups of levels with four other teachers. So hopefully Elijah won't get bored. It was so cute, Elijah's teacher said. "Elijah, can you read?" , and Elijah said. " NO, but I want to!!" And that is why we love school!
The triplets start school tomorrow, and Elijah's 1st official day is on Monday. I am kind of glad to be back on a schedule! Good luck to you all !

More Pictures

Spoiled!!!

In April, the kids and I went on a little trip to visit family. The digital camera went with us and in the chaos (someone) dropped it. It has worked off and on for the last little while, but never very good. Scott ran a little errand the other day, while I was at work, and came home with a new, REALLY, REALLY nice camera!! I was so excited! I am going to take a photography class this fall at UNM. I had a friend of mine (Thank you Audrey) take family pictures of us, before we got the new camera, and they turned out great! I'm not posting them, because we are using them for Christmas Pictures this year! We took a bunch of pictures of the kids, just to try out the camera. So enjoy the amature (spelling?) pictures!
