Broken Foot??

We thought it was broken, but after 2 sets of x-rays and 6 hours in the Doctor's office, we learned that it is only SPRAINED. I don't think Alivia will let the neighbor girl play "cheerleader" with her anymore. Liv has found out the hard way that Crutches are not fun, especially at school, and they "Hurt your armpits really bad!"

"Trunk or Treat"

We had the "Trunk or Treat" Friday night at our church. Joseph was in the middle of the Flu, so he didn't dress up and join us. We were all Vampires, except Elijah wanted to be a Power Ranger. We had a really good time. They had a live band and lots of food, and of course, TOO MUCH CANDY. I think we'll have it for a long time. I just found last year's Halloween candy, in my cupboard, about a week ago. Can't wait to go tomorrow!! Happy Halloween!!!

LUCKY US!!

We officially have the flu. We are so excited. Scott started it off, then I got it Monday night. Tuesday night Elijah was the lucky one to start. I wonder who's next. It's like waiting for a bomb to go off. I won't take pictures to gross you all out, so I thought that I would put up some awesome pictures of scenery from our Utah trip. It was gorgeous! Wish us luck this week, we are going to need it. Where's the LYSOL!!!

Q-TIPS

Q-tips are used for many things at our house. The parents use them for cleaning ears and nostrils. The dogs eat them. The kids use them for costumes. I think that some times they just get bored. Here is Elijah trying to postpone bedtime last night.

Chaplain Conference

We just got home yesterday from Utah. Scott and I had a Chaplain's Conference in Salt Lake City. We had to leave the triplets here in Albuquerque, because of school, so we took Alivia and Elijah with us. They spent the week with Grandma Sherie. They had a blast!! Elijah said some pretty funny things that Grandma labeled as "Elijahisms" Here is one. "Grandma, did you know that Heavenly Father doesn't care if you FART when you pray? I do it ALL the time." Needless to say, that between Elijah and Alivia, Grandma had a very entertaining week. WE LOVE YOU GRANDMA SHERIE!!!

The ride, to and from, was very long. On the way there, we stopped at a great place called "HOLE N THE ROCK" It's a family favorite. On the way home we climbed up to an arch outside of Moab. You can't see us in the picture, but we are there. The kids did great.

The meetings we went to were very inspiring, and it was fun to see friends we email all year and just see at conference, because they are all over the world.

We became friends with a gentelman named George, He is the very first LDS Chaplain from a foreign county. He is from the French Foreign Legion. He is such a great person. Talk about history in the making.

Over all it was a very good trip. I missed the kids at home, but they are all still alive and still doing well in Middle School, which was the whole purpose for them not going. Maybe next year they will be able to go.

New Jersey

Here are a few pictures of Scott in New Jersey. He HAD to travel there to visit some of his soldiers that were in Med Hold. While he was there he took a little side trip to check out the beach and also Atlantic City. He had a great time. Talk about a rough job.
