Spoiled!!!
In April, the kids and I went on a little trip to visit family. The digital camera went with us and in the chaos (someone) dropped it. It has worked off and on for the last little while, but never very good. Scott ran a little errand the other day, while I was at work, and came home with a new, REALLY, REALLY nice camera!! I was so excited! I am going to take a photography class this fall at UNM. I had a friend of mine (Thank you Audrey) take family pictures of us, before we got the new camera, and they turned out great! I'm not posting them, because we are using them for Christmas Pictures this year! We took a bunch of pictures of the kids, just to try out the camera. So enjoy the amature (spelling?) pictures!

Happy Birthday Alivia!!!!

I can't believe she is 9 years old! She had a great day! It was one friend birthday party this year. Alivia invited her friend Sandra over. We all went swimming, then had a weenie roast in the back yard. We had birthday cake, and then scared ourselves silly with Ghost Hunters and scary movies. I love that Alivia still wants stuffed animals and baby dolls. She is so sweet and such a fun little person to be around. Happy Birthday Bean Burrito! We love you!

Happy Father's Day!!

Can you believe we use to look like that? Look at all that hair!! I can't believe that we have been married for over 14 years. (No Regrets) Where does time go? I love Scott more today that I ever thought possible. He truly is my best friend. He is such a great husband and father. I have to admit that I think this Father's Day is going to be a little hard on us all. I couldn't have picked a better Dad for my kids. They absolutely adore him. He is our entertainer, and comic relief. We love you so much, Scott! We hope that you know that we think of you ALL THE TIME!! Thanks for all that you do! Happy Father's Day!

Another One Bites The Dust !

We have really bad luck with cats. Desmond, our other kitty cat, disappeared about a week ago. He just never came home. We went to the shelter, and all over the shelter are posters about keeping your cats in the house, because we have a massive amount of coyotes in our area. Can you believe it? We just fed a expensive, gourmet meal to the stupid coyotes. On a serious note, we were very sad. We love that cat. He was and is the coolest cat ever. No more cats for us. Goodbye Des. We love you. We know that you are in a better place.
Haircut !!!

I love my 12 year old girl. She is always amazing me with her maturity and kindness. For the last couple of years she has been talking about donating her hair to LOCKS OF LOVE. This week, she decided to cut her 10 inch ponytail off, and finally donate it. She got a dang cute haircut in the process. I think it makes her look way to old, though. What do you think? Way to go Allie!
Baylee

We have been telling Scott that we need another dog. He would say, "We already have one dog. It's good to only have one dog." We would say, "Maggie is lonely, we want another dog." He was very discouraging. Well home he comes, and within the week we have another dog. A puppy actually. She is a 4 month old Bassett Hound. She is absolutely adorable. She is the sweetest thing ever. We named her Baylee. Welcome to the crazy family, Baylee.
Scott's Home. Yeah!!!

OK, so it was just for a week, but it was so good to see him, and so SAD to have to say goodbye, AGAIN! He is doing great! He looks so good and we had a really fun week. He totally spoiled us all. Thank you, Scott, for all that you do.

FIRST GAME!!!!

Alivia and Elijah had their first soccer game this last Saturday. They both had a ton of fun. They were very entertaining to watch. Alivia played first, and the team they played had about 6 ft tall eleven year olds. Needless to say they lost 0 to 8.
Elijah's team played next. Elijah stayed right with the ball the whole time. We didn't kick it the right way all the time, but I think we are finally catching on to the idea of the game. Boy can that boy run!!! Can't wait till next week!

OUCH!!!

Alivia took a spill off of the lawn chair 2 days ago. She wanted me to post a picture of it. As we all know, Alivia is Drama with a capital D. However, she was extremely calm as the blood was dripping down her leg. We were all surprised and proud of her for being so brave. Way to go Liv!

VACATION!!!

We went on school break for the month of April. We started out going to Las Vegas, to visit Tyler, Carey, Calvin, and Liam. It was so fun to see them. We had a great time. Thanks you guys!
We then went to St. George and spent a few days with Grandpa Lou and Marlese. We went swimming, played at parks, and rode go-karts. It was wonderful weather, and was a very nice visit.
Next we went to a Winter Wonderland in Brian Head. We had a blast visiting with Angie, Bryce, Jaxon, Spencer, and Thomas. We went tubing, skiing, anowboarding, and played alot of Army man wars in the snow. Allie has found a new sport, and is now saving for a snowboard. Alivia is quite a natural on the skiis. Joe and Sam snowboarded, but they are not hooked. Elijah was just happy as he could be tubing and playing with fake guns in the woods.
We traveled to Grandma Sherie's house next. We helped Grandma haul sand to her sandbox today, and are enjoying just hanging out. School doesn't start until May, so we are just going to enjoy our time.
It has been so fun to see everyone. We miss you all already, and appreciate your hospitality!
School Play!

Allie and Liv were in a Drama Class this quarter, in school. They had great parts in their plays. Allie was an old British Woman in her play. Liv was a kitty in her classes version of Peter and the Wolf. They both did awesome. They were very entertaining. They had lots of fun. Allie never wants to act again, and Liv wants me to take her to a child actor's studio. Could they be any different?
Our Family Members

As most of you know, animals are like family members. We had a really bad week. We lost two of our family members. The first thing that happened was Malachi had to be put to sleep. He was only two years old, but had been suffering from seizures for almost a year. Medication was no longer helping, and he started hallucnating, walking into walls, and lost 15 pounds in three weeks. It was a really hard decision, but he is no longer suffering.
Three days after Malachi's passing, Phinneus, our cat, went missing. I had seen some Coyotes in the arroyo, behind our house, earlier that day. Phinn, never came home. We think that he is up in a field with Malachi, playing and enjoying eternal life. We will miss them both terribly.
EASTER!!

We had a great Easter this year. The Easter Bunny came on Saturday and brought us Guitar Hero III for the wii. We then went to an Easter party at some friends of ours. Todd and Caroline had the party of the year with egg coloring contests, egg rolling contests, cookies decorating, a bar-b-que, and an Easter Egg Hunt! We spent all day and had a BLAST!!
