Yesterday, after school, Sam went out front to ride scooters with a neighbor. He was outside about 10 minutes, when he came in hysterical! He sat on the couch, crying, shaking, etc. I could tell that his left arm was broken, so I CALMLY told him to go get in the car and we would go to Urgent Care. Long story and wait. X-rays showed that he had 2 bones broken and a sprained pinky finger in his left arm, AND 2 broken bones in his right arm. He is totally covered in Road Rash, and is in a lot of pain. They wrapped him up for the night, gave him pain killers and sent us home. This morning we went to an Orthopedic, who confirmed the diagnosis, and put a couple of COOL casts on him. We're not quite sure how it's going to work with school, but we'll figure it out. He has been so brave. You can seriously see the pain in his face, but being Sam, he just lets it roll off. He even has laughed and joked about it. He always has been so easygoing, and delightful to be around. (even in bad circumstances) Sorry Buddy!
