LOVED IT!!! Wouldn't want to live there, but it was a great place to visit. We left on Friday, saw some of the sights, and then spent a long sleepless night in the hotel with Molly, the dog who NEVER sleeps. The Hernandez family met us at the temple in the morning, and then off we went to see more of the sights. We had so much fun!!

USAF Airplane Ceremony
The Air Force got a new plane, so they had a ceremony. They asked Scott if he would say the opening prayer, so we tagged along. We toasted the plane, with apple cider. It was a little loud at first, as the plane flew in, and parked right in front of us. We were able to go inside the plane and check it out! It was amazing! I had no idea they were so HUGE!! I can't believe a thing that big and heavy can fly!
Blue Claws Baseball
We went to the Military appreciation day at the Blue Claws stadium. It was so much fun! We had dinner at a great restaurant called "Yussi's", and then went to the game with a big group of Chaplains and their families. The Phillies pull players from the Blue Claws. We enjoyed great company, and we even won the game in the 10th inning!
Alivia's 11th Birthday!
Liv's birthday was amazing this year! We had some humidity issues with the cake, but other than that is was just a blast! She wanted to go to New York City for her birthday, so the rest of us HAD to tag along. We took the train to Madison Square Garden's and we were the total tourists all day long! We hopped on one of those double decker buses, and saw EVERYTHING! We went to Times Square, Statue of Liberty, Ground Zero, China Town, Little Italy, and The American Girl Store. It took all day to see everything in central and lower Manhattan. We had a great time! Alivia got her cartoon picture drawn while we were in Battery Park. She and Elijah also ran through the fountains there in the park. We went to some of the scariest bathrooms any of us had ever been to. We ate great food, and enjoyed the day! Happy Birthday Alivia! We are so proud of the person you are, and the person you're becoming. We love you!

MOVING!!!

Yes, we are moving again! We FINALLY got orders, and are heading to the East Coast. School is out the 28th of this month, and we are off. I won't be posting for a little bit, because I have a lot of dejunking and organizing to do. We should be in our house the 1st of July, which means a month in temporary housing. (not to excited about that one) We are looking forward to a new adventure, and we are told we will be there for 3 to 4 years! YEAH!!!
We are sad to be leaving our awesome friends and ward members. Remember you have a place to stay, if you want to explore the North East area of the US. We love you and will miss you!

Zoo Day
I got to go with Elijah and his 1st grade class to the zoo. Elijah's best friend is Jayden F. They are absolutely hillarious together. They looked at a few animals, but were more interested in "Running" and "Climbing" all over the zoo. They had a great time, and they both slept really well that night!

Easter Weekend
This Easter was a little different this year. Scott, Joe and Sam were driving to New Jersey for a fun trip, so it was Allie, Alivia, Elijah and I at home. We had a lot of fun coloring eggs, and then we went to "Clash of the Titans". We also did some sewing and played with the doggies. It was a fun weekend, but it felt weird to not have everyone at home.
Track!

Joseph and Allie made the track team this year. Joe rocks at Shotput and Discus. Allie loves to run. She was in her first track meet, running the relay, when she tore her ligament in her foot. Needless to say, the doctor says she is done running for the season. She is pretty bummed. She did win the race though! I'm just hoping we're not looking at surgery.

Elijah and the Piano
While in GTMO, Elijah heard the Star Spangled Banner everyday, twice a day. He sang it constantly. When we got home to our piano, he sat down one day, and after, about a half an hour, was playing The Star Spangled Banner. We were all in awe!! I signed him up for piano lessons immediately, but we only lasted about a month. He hated playing from a book. He has since learned to play several different songs, that he loves to sing, but WILL NOT play by the book. His teacher said we need to find someone who teaches the Suzuki method. I guess that the Suzuki method goes more by ear, and Elijah's style of playing. The kid is AMAZING!
Missoula Children's Theater
Alivia is our actress. She was recently in the play "Pinocchio". She was a puppet. She did a great job, and had a really awesome time!! We love you Liv!
